1000 Entrecard Credits Winner
When I first wrote the post about the contest to win 1000 Entrecard credits I thought that there maybe up to ten entrants competing for the prize. I was told that maybe I hadn’t let the competition run for long enough, fair enough.
Two people in total mentioned the contest, yet only one of them followed the rules.
Congratulations to Inquisitor Goody of The Captians Blogg, a Warhammer blog that has been displayed in my blogroll for quite a long time. The 1000 Credits will be sent across right away.
I also have to say thanks to ContestHub for posting about the contest but, as the rules weren’t followed correctly, the post was inelligable for a prize.
1000 Free Entrecard Credits
This is going to be a very short post, I randomly had an urge to give away a bunch of Entrecard credits today. All you have to do is post a link to “http://www.darrensingleton.com” using one of the following keywords:
- increase blog traffic
- more blog traffic
- traffic for your blog
You are entered when I am notified of your link either via a trackback or post your URL in the comments section of THIS post. I will stop accepting new entries this Friday (15th) at midnight and will announce the winner on Saturday. The winner will be selected at random from all entries. Each person is limited to just one entry only.
Contest for Entrecard Credits
There are many contests appearing on a weekly (if not daily basis) that are offering prizes in some shape or form, take my mini-Entrecard contest last week, and the contest of John Chow’s that I wrote about previously that offered digital cameras to the winners.
One more contest that has caught my eye offers a whole range of prizes, not just to one person, but one prize to each of the winners. I count 32 prizes in total, and so that means 32 winners. You can check out the contest here, the prizes themselves range from 10,000 Entrecard Credits to a poem and even a painting.
It doesn’t cost anything to enter, all you have to do is promote the contest via your own blog (just like I am doing). I’m going to have to say I would like the 10,000 credits, there are a LOT of things you could by from the Entrecard store with that. I have pasted the exact details of all the prizes below for your reference.
Fantasy Baseball – 10,000ec — You can trade in 10,000ec for, like, Graham’s car or something.
Q3-n – 5000ec — Q3-n is selling their 1950s dinette furniture to finance this contest. They say, “You’re welcome.”
Øblog – 4000ec — Wow! 4000ec is going for like $30 on the Entrecard market. Thanks, Weird Oh.
Evil Woobie – 3000ec — Hey, maybe she’s not so evil after all! Or is she? You make the call!
Turnip of Power – 1001ec — He was going to go with 1000 then he found an extra credit in his couch. Thanks, Turnip!
Celebrity Pictures – 1000ec — Credits were acquired through legal means. Supposedly.
Evil Entrecard Kid! – 1000ec — Entrecard trivia: Evil Woobie and Evil Entrecard Kid are not related. Yet.
Modern Glam – 1000ec — With the 1000ec, perhaps you’ll buy an imaginary 1000ec pashmina and hang it around your virtual neck.
Dot Com Mogul – 1000ec — With this 1000ec, you might be able to buy back Q3-n’s dinette furniture.
Blabberwocky – 1000ec — It’s a play on Jabberwocky.
Looking For Scoop – 1000ec — Nothing says “I can buy one popular ad” like 1000ec.
Eyespi20.com – 1000ec — And she’ll teach you how she does that weird signature thing. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, look at her site.
Travelin’ Show – 1000ec — Message from the year 2012: Macy’s is now taking credits and a 1000 gets you one earring.
The Hypnotist – 1000ec — She will put you under a spell. Recognize!
Diet Pulpit – 1000ec — You can buy a lot of imaginary rice cakes with 1000ec. Side note, imaginary rice cakes taste better than real ones.
The Realtor – 500ec — You want insight. Listen to her write. It’s like magic beans growing in the backyard of your brain.
Romelo – 500ec — Romelo, Romelo, wherefore art thou 500ec?
WebATBP.com – 500ec — With gas prices soaring, it won’t be too long before 500ec goes for 501ec.
Inspire Emotion – 500ec — Almost pay for your favorite 512ec ad!
Sue Doe-Nim – 500ec — She’ll probably give you the credits then mock you for wanting them. That’s right — bonus!
Thailand Land of Smiles – 500ec — Actually, that’s 500 smiles.
FitnessLifeClub – 500ec — You’ll have to promise not to blow these credits on any fattening foods.
Lisa Cooking – 500ec — Surprise the whole family with 500 Entrecard credits.
JunkieYard Dot Com – 500ec — If you put these credits in a 401K, in 45 years you’ll have enough credits for a free e-card.
Movie Reviews – 500ec — You can’t buy a movie ticket with Entrecard credits. Yet. (Graham twirls his mustache. Contemplating world domination.)Aerten Art – She’s donating a painting. Seriously. Go look at her site and tell me you wouldn’t want a painting. Now. We’ll wait.
ImpNERD – 125×125 ad for a month — Let’s see, ImpNERD usually sells advertising for 256ec/day. You get this for a month. Um, yeah, you want this.
PoemsofQuotes – A cheesy poem about the winner’s topic — Win this and then ask them to rhyme something with, “Orange.”
Eyespi20.com – A custom made 125×125 card. Some of you need this. You know who you are.
Diet Pulpit – One week ad spot right below the banner and a personal greeting from Lady Rose saying, “Congratulations!”
JunkieYard Dot Com – Three blogroll links. Okay, the thing is, you can’t just get these. They’re prizes only won here.
The Hypnotist – A Hypnotic Audio – I don’t think this will simply be trance music. I could be wrong.
Good luck to everybody, I’m hoping this week to get several high quality articles written in order to increase the websites exposure. Have you seen the updated Alexa Ranking? It’s down to 3,243,660 now, slowly but surely it’s dropping! Thanks for checking this out.
First Entrecard Contest Results
On 28th June I posted a small contest dependant on people dropping their Entrecard’s on this blog. I said that whoever dropped their card the most in the week (ending today) would get their blog shown in my blogroll for the remainder of July.
Although the contest lasted seven days, two people have dropped their cards four times. Rather than use random.org and choose only one blog, I am giving it to the two winners.
Congratualtions:
FOOTBALL: Just Love The Game
and
Tha Cash
I have added you both to the blogroll and it will stay there at least until the 1st August. Make sure you sign up to my feed to find out what is going to happen this week.
Promotional Contests
Holding blog contests can greatly improve traffic to your website or blog. If you have a product for sale, offering free samples as a reward/prize can increase publicity even more.
The blogging community tend to love giveaways and I have been on the receiving end of one with my Winning The Web T-shirt last week.
One of the best known bloggers out there, John Chow, is currently holding a contest alongside Bic Promotional Pens and is giving away two Flip Video cameras. In order to be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is reply to John Chow’s post here for one point into the contest and blog about the contest (like I’ve done here) in exchange for an additional five entries.
Contests like these are exceptional for promotion of new products and are a great way to expose your website and brand to more people. A website selling Bic Pens will be expecting a lot of traffic from this contest; with great exposure on John Chow’s blog and then posts like this one to further boost their brand, it is not directly marketed at their existing customers and looks to increase their market considerably over the next month.
Best of luck to everybody, although I would really like one of those cameras and don’t forget my current contest where you get a link in my blogroll (wow, I really do need better prizes!)
